How Our Family Support Worker Can Help
Our Family Support Worker (FSW), Alicia, is here to support parents, carers and families with the emotional, social and practical challenges that family life can sometimes bring. You don’t have to wait until things become difficult — Alicia is available to offer support, advice and a listening ear whenever you need it.
Early Help: If you’re experiencing a difficulty at home, Alicia can offer support early on, helping to find solutions before things become overwhelming or reach crisis point.
Family relationships: Support is available to help families develop positive, healthy relationships and improve communication at home.
Connecting you with other services: Where more specialist support is needed, Alicia can help you access the right organisations and services. This could include support with bereavement, finances and budgeting, domestic abuse, legal and community advice, or parenting courses.

Practical advice and guidance: Alicia can provide friendly, practical support with parenting, accessing local services, advocacy and completing forms or paperwork.
