If you have any donations of good condition uniform (or coats) your child has grown out of, we’d gratefully receive them. Please send them in with your child.

For uniform with the school logo on, please click on the link below.  There is no onligation for parents to purchase uniform bearing the school logo. All we do ask is that parents adhere to school colours www.myclothing.com.

Book bags
We encourage the use of book bags to protect our books that go to and from school, from getting crumpled with other items, or being exposed to water spillages. If you would like to purchase a book bag with the school logo on, please contact the school office (admin@hatchellwood.com), and we will add the payment (£5) to your ParentPay account and send the book bag home with your child. If you are new to the school, please request one from the school office, and we will allocate the payment and book bag on your childs first day.

Labelling School Uniform
Please ensure that you clearly label all your child’s belongings with his/her name. This is of great assistance in enabling us to return lost items to their rightful owner.

Unnamed items are placed in the lost property box. Any items which remain unclaimed at the end of each term will be recycled / disposed of.

Hair Styles
We encourage our pupils to take pride in their appearance and to understand the importance of dressing appropriately for school. We would ask that parents support us and discourage inappropriate hair styles. ie. tram lines, coloured hair gel, excessive hair ornaments. Shoulder length hair must be tied back at all times.

Jewellery
Earrings should be small studs. This is for safety reasons as it is very easy to catch larger earrings and cause an injury, especially at playtime. The children should not wear necklaces or any other jewellery, nail varnish or transfer tattoos.
