Early Years Transition Information
** September 2026 Reception Starters**
We want to wish a very warm welcome from Hatchell Wood Primary Academy to all of our new families. This page is just for you and we hope you will find it really useful! In the coming days and weeks we will post lots of information including links to photographs of the environment, information booklets and lots more.

We are pleased to invite parents and carers of our Early Years children to an information meeting on Tuesday 30th June at 4:00pm. This is a great opportunity to learn more about your child's learning and development, hear about upcoming transition activities, and ask any questions you may have. We look forward to seeing you there.
In September we will also be welcoming parents and children to a number of 'Stay and Play' sessions within the Early Years unit. These will be an opportunity for you to come along with your child, meet our staff team and play in the early years enviornment. .
