We want to wish a very warm welcome from Hatchell Wood Primary Academy to all of our new families. This page is just for you and we hope you will find it really useful! In the coming days and weeks we will post lots of information including links to photographs of the environment, information booklets and lots more.
If you would like to find out more details about the starting school procedures, staff, enviornment, curriculum, uniform and much, much more then please read our starting school information booklet.
We would like to invite you to an open evening so that you have the opportunity to meet your child's new teachers and ask any questions you may have regarding their school day, or anything you may be feeling apprehensive about. This session is going to be held on Wednesday 19th June at 4pm. Please note this is a parent/carers only meeting. If you are unable to make the open evening please be assured that we will also be sending out packs with all the information in and this can also be found in the starting school booklet.
In July we will also be welcoming parents and children to a number of 'Stay and Play' sessions within the Early Years unit. These will be an opportunity for you to come along with your child, meet our staff team and play in the early years enviornment. The sessions will be:
Wednesday 3rd July 9:15-10:00am
Wednesday 3rd July 10:30-11:15am
Friday 5th July 9:15 - 10:00am
Friday 5th July 1:30-2:15pm
If you would like to attend any of the sessions please complete the form that has been send out electronically to book a place. We recommend that you attend at least one session but you can attend more if you wish. You will need to accompany your child on the visit, or if you are unable to, it might be a relative/friend that does so.
